I'm finally back from Alabama, and I really had a great time.
The day I got there, I arrived in the airport at about 1, and Kat's dad picked me up at the airport. We drove to Florence, Alabama, where Kat was at her orientation, and met her mom. We at supper at about 6, just her parents and I, and then Patsy drove me to Vernon. I didn't actually get to see kat until the next night. After she got home, we had to immediately get ready for camp, and left on Saturday with her brother, Steven, and his friend, Lee. we drove the 5 hours to camp, and met one of Kat's friends, Will, and had dinner with him and his mom. The next day was when everyone else showed up for camp, and I finally met this one guy I had been talking to on the internet for a year. His name was Drew, and I also met Steve, who is the nicest guy ever. I met a lot of great people, and the teaching was amazing. IT was one of the best camps that I've been to. I really loved it, and can't wait to go back next year.
Then last week was so fun. On Saturday, the first day after camp, David came from California. We picked him up from the airport, and came back on saturday night. It was late, so we just talked, and then went to bed. We went to church on Sunday and then came back to the house, and talked until Kat went to work. We went to church that night, and went to visit Kat's grandmother, because she was really nervous about Dave coming. It was really funny. Monday we went to Columbus, Mississippi, which was the nearest mall and then went to Applebee's. I don't think I've had more fun at a restaurant in my life. We had the best waiter, who talked to us several times, and we joked about stuff. Kat and I eventually ended up leaving our numbers as a joke. Tuesday, we went to Fayette, for Kat's orthodontist appointment, and then to Wal-mart, because Dave needed stuff for making dinner for us that night. He was pretty much obsessed with cooking for everyone. It was really good, though. Wednesday, we went to a place called the Dismals, which is kind of like Old Man's Cave. It was only a mile and a half the whole way, so we got finished with it in a little over an hour. It was really pretty too. We went to church Wed. night, and when we got to class, it was so funny because the subject was profanity. I tried so hard not to look at Dave, but it was so funny. After church, he was like, "I'm not that bad...." and stuff like that, and we were like, Yes you are. He didn't realize how much he cussed. It was funny. I stayed up late that night and packed my clothes and stuff. I went to bed at about 1:30, and got up at 5:30, finished packing, and we started off for the airport. I got home that night at about 7. I was so tired, but it really was great.
Well, I think that's about it. I really want to play tennis sometime soon, so let me know what date would be good for everybody. I'll talk to everyone later.
